My story
Hello friends,
I’m Kriszti, and I’m sharing what I’m making in this blog. I’ll be 54 years old in May 2025. My three children are adults now, have moved, and are on their way to move out. I have time for my hobbies and also to write about my projects.
I started knitting in 4th grade. My Granny used to visit us on Friday afternoons. Mom came home from work and sometimes bought slices of cake from the conditory; or sometimes they just had a coffee. I remember them talking and me sitting there as a beginner knitter with a hat project, and I remember how good it was to be able to ask them for help when the knitting tangled up.
I haven’t been knitting in all my years, but now I’m happy to sit down at home with a challenging/ or a soul-calming easy project whenever I feel like it.
I like using natural materials. My biggest motivation was to knit socks because my children’s feet froze most of the time during playtime at the schoolyard, or more precisely, all the time.
I make my own patterns or knit and crochet Drops Design Garnstudio’s free patterns. I often get inspired by Pinterest and work with free patterns from there.
I order the yarn from Lindehobby and Hobbii.
